INCA – introducing the best of Indian contemporary art

INCA is a new venture focused on bringing the best of Indian contemporary art to a new audience in the UK. Sometimes, as in the case of Reba Hore, the work will be by artists already well established in India who happen not to have exhibited in Britain before. Sometimes the work will be by new, up and coming artists, still establishing their reputations on the sub-continent, but also keen to explore the possibilities of finding an audience in Europe.

The partners in INCA have wide experience of the world of the arts in both cultures and are well placed to bring together Indian contemporary artists and British and other European art lovers. The venture is also supported by the long standing ties and aspirations shared with Naveen Kishore and the Seagull Foundation for the Arts.

The Arunima Choudhury exhibition will run for four days at the Menier Gallery, 51 Southwark Street, London SE11RU from 15th to 19th July 2008 and therafter any remaining paintings from the collection will be available to view by appointment.

The Reba Hore exhibition, now in our Archive section ran for a week at the Arndean Gallery, 23 Cork Street, London W1 from 18th to 22nd December 2007 and the few remaining paintings from this collection, some of which will also be on display at the Menier Gallery in July, are also available to view by appointment.
