About the Seagull Foundation for the Arts

“The Seagull Foundation for the Arts came into being in 1987 because some of us hands-on practitioners of ‘The Arts’ wanted to share our practices, our impulses, our skills, our responses to the world around us, our ability to document arts processes in the course of their evolution, our acumen to raise resources that supported the arts with a larger body of people, with audiences, with viewers, with readers, with entire communities of interested listeners.”
